D&Y Nail Spa is at 311 Court Street, in the stretch of Carroll Gardens where the brownstones start to give way to old shopfronts. Inside, it's bright, modern, and unhurried — pale wood, big windows, and a polish wall arranged from soft nudes to deep wines.

Most of what we do is gel manicures and spa pedicures, and we take both seriously. Our gel polish is cured properly and held to a 7-day no-peel guarantee — if anything lifts in the first week, come back and we'll fix it free. Our pedicures include a real massage, not a tap on the calves and a rinse.

Carroll Gardens / Cobble Hill at its best — F and G trains a few blocks away, Court Street's bakeries and bookshops on either side of us. We've built a quiet following of regulars from the surrounding brownstones, and we love seeing new faces walk in off the street.

Walk-ins are welcome whenever a chair is open. For weekends, evenings, or longer services like extensions, dip, or detailed nail art, we recommend booking ahead — it tends to fill up.
